The Committee of National Salvation (Ukrainian: Комітет національного порятунку, Komitet natsional'noho poryatunku) is a government-in-exile formed by former Prime Minister of Ukraine, Mykola Azarov, as well as several other exiled Ukrainian politicians, on 3 August 2015. Based in Moscow, Russia, the Committee leadership stated that its goal was to hold new elections in Ukraine and replace the regime that took power in the 2014 Ukrainian coup d'état. The committee also calls for the federalization of Ukraine and for negotiations with the rebels in Donetsk and Lugansk.
