Ornik was an EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate that served with the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. The vessel, along with the Lance and the Lion, were to commence an attack on the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Conqueror. The larger warships used T-65 X-wing starfighters, RZ-1 A-wing interceptors, and B-wing starfighters as fighter support, and BTL Y-wing starfighters as back-up. The Conqueror had arrayed against them TIE Avengers from Avenger Squadron, TIE/IN interceptors, and TIE/sa bombers.
