The RG9 comes equipped with Ibanez Quantum pickups and a fixed bridge. It has a 28" scale neck. The RG9 is Ibanez' third mass produced 9-string offering following the RG9QM (which is distinguished from the RG9 only by its quilted maple top) and the RG90BKP Prestige, which were both introduced the previous year.
