When used, all of the Pikmin in your group will hook together and will jump with all of their might to get back up to the ledge. The less Pikmin you have, the less chance you have at having a successful recovery. The move will not reappear in it's sequel Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U due to Olimar's limit of 3 Pikmin instead of 6. The new move Winged Pikmin will work reversely in which if Olimar has less Pikmin he can recover better.
