The Ord Mantell Government is currently involved in a civil conflict against insurgents desiring independence. Despite being extremely corrupt, it has been heavily-propped up by the Galactic Republic who stationed ground combat units of highly trained special forces to combat the increasingly threat of the Mantellian separatists.
