A sixteen-year old Arabic Scyther sophomore. Her full name is properly Ibtisam al-Jamal bint Sirhan ibn Mohammed al-Khalidi ibn Aloni bint Azami al-Marwan ibn Abdullah al-Scycura... but she likes to be called Sam by her friends. She grew up in a hive made up of insect Pokemorphs, where life is dominated by political jockeying, makeshift alliances, and feuds between different factions and types of Mon. Sam's mother, a powerful figure in the hive, arranged for her to go to the PCA. Sam, hating life in the hive, agreed to go; not intending to ever return.
