Tinnos Wasps are one of the most numerous enemies in the game with a seemingly endless number of them coming from their hives. Although the wasps are not particularly hard to kill and nor do they do a deadly amount of damage they can be daunting and annoying enemies when occupied with another task (such as climbing or traversing ledges). It can be assumed that these wasps somehow penetrated into the meteorite cavern and where exposed to the mutative properties of the meteorite, becoming mutated vicious mosnters as a result.
