Darmstadt is the sole base of the Landwirtrechtbewegung (Farmers' Rights Movement), where they base their attacks against the Liberty corporations that have taken control of Planet Stuttgart. The base is located in the Ostnebel, a Walker Nebula in the eastern edge of the Stuttgart system, which is in close proximity to the planets Stuttgart and Baden-Baden. Jump Holes to New Berlin and Dresden are located near Darmstadt, which also allows the LWB to pick up supplies from their compatriots, the Red Hessians, from their base at Vogtland.
