His luck didn't last forever, as a crafty hunter by the name of Taiy Raanxa was busy putting events into motion that would eventually lead to his downfall. Raanxa killed some important people and destroyed a group of precious cargo holdings of gangs that opposed the Rak Ti'tah, each time shifting the evidence to point to Luas and his cohorts. Before long, a massive gang war erupted and spilled out onto the streets. As the confusion and violence grew, so did Luas's vulnerability, and as he was in his private quarters, preparing to leave the planet, Raanxa burst in and gunned the man down.
