When Aam and Basilk opened the Gateway he appeared. He claimed to be ruler of the the planet Metatrophus. He plans to conquer Earth and claim it as part of his empire. He joins the Brotherhood and hatches a plan. The X-Men interfere numerous times and end up crashing his ship into The Statue Of Liberty. He survived and attacked then but Cyclops blasted him and he burst into flames. They stole Stark weapons with M.O.D.O.Ks help and tried to destroy Earth but Iron Man and War Machine managed to turn the weapons against them and destroyed Sufixx but Merigo escaped.
