The K’Thale Deployment was a type of move used in orbital skydiving. This technique was pioneered by the one armed Klingon called K'Thale who as a noted expert in orbital skydiving and lost his arm by making use of this deployment. It involved the removal of the protective suit and a manual deployment of the monomer chute. Whilst engaging in orbital skydiving at Bajor with Jean-Luc Picard, James T.
