Prince Michal Vishnevetsky is initially a Vassal of Polish Commonwealth. He is based on a real person, Michał Korybut Wiśniowiecki (1640–1673), who was Polish-Lithuanian noble, one of the most powerful people in the Commonwealth and later King of Poland.
