Doji Kintaro was a high-ranking magistrate of the Crane Clan. In 1165 he was summoned by the Emperor Toturi III, and introduced in the Imperial Court by Doji Noriko, senior magistrate of all Doji provinces. Kintaro was praised by a mission of one year ago, when he exposed and executed a number of Bloodspeakers in his province. Isawa Sezaru executed Noriko on the spot, and the Emperor revealed she was another Bloodspeaker, who had destroyed the documents seized to the cultists before they were ever entered into the Imperial records. Kintaro was promoted by Toturi III.
