King Gin’yursis of Cil-Aujas allied with Men during the Apocalypse, and he and the Meöri hero Nostol held back the Horde of the No-God at the Battle of Kathol Pass in the autumn of 2151. However, due to their envy and hate of the Nonmen, Nostol and his warriors betrayed and killed Gin’yursis and his kin the following spring.
