Solomon served in the American army during World War I. Solomon and his men were offered a dollar a day by Mr Diagoras to go into the sewers, only for them to be taken away by pig slaves for the Final Experiment. (TV: Daleks in Manhattan) Solomon was lucky enough to escape an ambush with the Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones before returning to Hooverville. Later, he led the occupants of Hooverville in defence against the Daleks.
