Tommy Wright (29th June 1927 - December 1999) appeared in Coronation Street in one episode in May 1980 as Jack Clayton, the father of short-term Kabin assistant Louise Clayton. During a long career he appeared in many programmes such as Z Cars, Doctor Who, Dixon of Dock Green, The Brothers, Upstairs, Downstairs, Robin’s Nest, Poirot and Soldier Soldier. In the cinema he acted in The Elephant Man, Chaplin, Frankenstein and Under Suspicion.
