James Retter Duncan worked in the children's program at Canada's Wonderland while in his teens, playing Captain Caveman and Scooby-Doo. Graduating from Ryerson theatre school in 2000, and apprenticed at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. He plays the head of the horse in War Horse.
