Vidur was a Tortallan who lived during the 5th century HE. He was in the armed forces and was a regular army sergeant. He was assigned to oversee the Haven convicts in the beginning of the Scanran War in 460. He clashed heads with Keladry of Mindelan, the commander of the camp, for caring too much about the convicts. He shared his beliefs with his counterpart, Sergeant Oluf, and they both informed her that her ban on flogging was a sign of female weakness. Sergeant Vidur survived the attack of Haven in mid-June, 460, but many of his convicts were taken by the Scanrans.
