The USS Ganges (NCC-72454) was a Federation Danube-class runabout in service to Starfleet in the late 24th century. The Ganges was assigned to Deep Space 9 in 2369. (DS9: "Emissary") In 2370, the Ganges was destroyed by a T'Lani cruiser. It was replaced at Deep Space 9 by the USS Mekong. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 1: The Ships of Starfleet)
