Former mayor of Mount Laurel, Linda Bobo, won the presidential election by a landslide. She won with 350 popular votes and carrying 27 states and Washington, D.C. Her running mate was Sheila Y. Oliver, a former Speaker of the New Jersey General Assembly. Linda Bobo would win the next election of the United States. Making her the second woman president in history.
