Warren Stanhope (22nd August 1929 - 14th February 2012) was a Canadian actor who played Major A.J. Ryan on Coronation Street between June and November 1967, with a return to the role in December 1970. His other credits include Man in a Suitcase, The Saint, Department S and L.A. Law.
