Flambeau (believed born some time around 715 A.D., last seen in 820 A.D.) was a militant magus whose family was killed during a Moorish invasion of their holdings and whose pater was later killed by Moorish sorcerors along with the local Christian lord he served in the beginning of the Reconquista. Flambeau was present at the time and barely escaped with his life. He swore to avenge his pater against the Sorcerors and others of their ilk.
