Ballistics Defense Technology is a newer defensive technology designed at the eve of the Citadel Navy. It is made up of a special armor plating that lines the ship's normal armor. This plating is not only strong but it emits an electromagnetic signal around the ship. This stops any missiles or other explosive devices from being locked-on to the ship's signature. It also disarms slow-moving torpedos propulsion before it gets to the ship, weakening it's ballistic damage by nearly 20%.
