The Darkstone series is a line of solid body electric guitar models sold by Hoshino Gakki under the Ibanez brand. The Darkstone line was introduced in 2009. The Darkstone models have an original body design with an offset, double cutaway shape with short, horns which come to a point and a jog in the body near the butt-end strap button which is reminiscent of the Iceman design. The design evokes the Concert series shape from the late-1970s which can be described as a sort of cross between a Gibson Les Paul and a Fender Strat.
