Pope Isaac of Alexandria was the Coptic Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark from 689 to 692. He is commemorated in the Coptic Synaxarion on the 9th day of Hathor. During his tenure, The Hanging Church was built, though an older church might have been present on the site
