Freyr Kann was a commander in the Alsakan Union who held a close relationship to Lharra, the former Vicar of the Alsakans. He was captured and interrogated in the aftermath of the Battle of Bessimir. He had been regarded by many as a chosen child of Shalharra, because a falcon often took its perch upon his shoulder. The same falcon perched upon Freyr's shoulder so many times that the Alsakan referred to the bird as Remiel. Birds were placed in a high regard in the Alsakan religion, and were thought to be Shalharra's messengers.
