In 1938, RKO created Dinkartoons, Avenue Studios' first project. The cartoons were produced by Avenue Studios and released by RKO Radio Pictures in the same vein as Max Fleischer's Talkartoons. The series lasted until 1941. All cartoons were in black-and-white.
