Gul Meka Tunol was a Cardassian military officer during the 2360s. Early in her career, she served under the command of Hanno, who was very impressed with her and remarked that "she showed much promise". In 2362, Tunol was in command of the CDS Rekkel when it was suddenly attacked by Talarian raiders in the area between Cardassian and Talarian space. During the attack, she was killed when the bridge's ceiling collapsed in on her. (ST novella: The Slow Knife)
