Bornth was a young Gand who earned to right to use his family name after being accepted into the Jedi Order. He was taught under the instruction of Caitlin Voss and looked forward to the day when he would become a Jedi Knight - in part because it would mean he would also earn the right to a first name under Gand tradition.
