Brian Carlin (born June 13, 1950) played for the Los Angeles Kings during the 1971–72 season, and he played for the Edmonton Oilers during the 1972–73 and the 1973–74 seasons. He played junior hockey for the Calgary Centennials and the Medicine Hat Tigers, scoring 100 points in 1969-70 with the latter team. The Los Angeles Kings chose him 86th overall in the 1969 NHL Amateur Draft. He retired in 1977 after playing three seasons of senior hockey in Calgary.
