Hope the Mongoose is the best friend of Vanille the Mongoose. He like Vanille, has an array of magic abilities. Another thing they have in common is they both have lost their mother. Hope lives with his father in the village bordering the jungle, Vanille resides in. He usually goes and visits her. Hope is very timid, and because of this cannot admit his romantic feelings for Vanille. The only person he has ever told was Fire the Hedgehog.
