The 2024-2025 Southeast Pacific Cyclone Season was the first ever Southeast Pacific Cyclone season on record. As it was likely to be inactive, part of the Southwest Pacific basin was moved into the Southeast Pacific Basin, making the Southeast Pacific basin one of the largest in the world. But despite the added area, the Southeast Pacific did not live up to expectations, with 11 Depressions, 8 Named Storms, 6 Cyclones, and 2 Major Cyclones. The season officially started on October 17 with the Formation of Hurricane Natanael and ended on April 4 with the dissipation of Tropical Storm Jacquelyn.
