The Sith were a red-skinned humanoid species created from genetic material of the ancient and extinct Sith by the Sith Alchemist Order under the request of Darth Matas. The Sith were considered the reborn species since they were created and genetically manipulated to become a stronger race than that of the ancient Sith. They were transported to the planet Korriban and allowed to thrive again and recreate the Sith world.
