Knights of Sloth was created by Longshotz and real life friends Catboy, Larkin, and Skanknmonkey at the beginning of Midnight. Early on the crew joined the No Homers flag, in which the only other two crews at the time were Flying Hellfish and Rum 'n Blood D'Oh. The crew never really took off in the way that Longshotz wanted it to, and so on July 22, 2004, Longshotz made a new crew, the The Imperial Fists, to which most of the active Knights of Sloth mates moved.
