One year after Emergence Day, the Justice Secretary was Janeen Mauris, and was one of the few positions left in Chairman Richard Prescott's Cabinet. Secretary Mauris attended a Cabinet meeting where Prescott announced the Hammer of Dawn counterattack, and told Secretary Mauris and the others they could not change his mind about it.
