His first published work was in Acclaim Comics Disney's Enchanting Stories issue #2, illustrating a "Hercules" story. He became interested in comics as a child, and often drew his favorite characters. According to him, working on the Perchance to Dream series "allows me to incorporate two of my favorite things, namely Star Trek and comics." [1] He also did cover art for Marvel's Star Trek line, but the license changed hands before any of them were able to be published.
