A contributing sponsor was one of the corporations that invested in the Corporate Sector Authority. Contributing sponsors invested less than a voting sponsors, usually in the region of fifty trillion credits in currency, services, or equipment. They were also not guaranteed a voting position on the Executive Directorship Board. One-third of the voting seats of the Board were given to contributing sponsors, and the Direx members from the contributing sponsors were chosen from their number.
