Jodi Lerner is a fictional character on the Showtime television network series The L Word. She is played by the American actress Marlee Matlin. Jodi is a deaf sculptor who worked in the art department and who has a relationship with the Dean of the Arts School, Bette Porter, throughout seasons 4 and 5 of the show. The relationship reaches it's climax when Bette starts cheating on Jodi with Tina Kennard and Jodi realises Bette was merely using her the whole time.
