UnMagick was a spell that was unleashed by the Frontacians of Penthania under the direction of the High Magus Telfast. UnMagick was intended to strip the Arachnians of their ability to control runes, which it did. However, backlash from the spell transformed the Frontacians of Penthania into Penthanians as well as the Frontacians of Secia into Secians. In addition, the UnMagick had an unexpected effect on the Dragons, causing them to progress through life in stages. This aftereffect of the spell is known as the Great Change.
