Mary Davenport (née Forrester; 1 August 1883 – 29 December 1994) was an American verified supercentenarian. Davenport was born as Mary Ann Forrester in Union County, Georgia, to parents Newton Coleman and Luticia Victoria Forrester. Newton was a school teacher and postmaster. She was married to Claud Duvall Davenport. They ran a general store and post office in the Hempton area. Claud died in 1961. She led a stress-free life and was able to communicate until her death. Davenport died on 29 December 1994, at the age of 111 years, 150 days. She had been widowed for 33 years.
