Prairie Tale: A Memoir is a memoir written by Melissa Gilbert, who played Laura Ingalls Wilder on the NBC television series of Little House on the Prairie. The description for the books reads, "A fascinating, heartbreaking, and ultimately uplifting tale of self-discovery from the beloved actress who earned a permanent place in the hearts of millions when she was just a child." A paperback version of the book was released on February 15, 2010. Preceding that, a large-print edition was released on December 2, 2009 that is published by Thorndike Press.
