The common mosses of Middle-Earth only had light or medium antibiotic qualities, but some sorts were commonly used by healers, these rare plants included Trudurs, Reglen, Din Fuinen, Sinnirwa, Gorfang, Attanar, Berterin, [[Numeneloss] and Slagen. Often Feavermoss and carraigín were misleadingly called mosses, Feavermoss actually belonging to the Fungi, Carraigin to the Algae.
