Scott Weber was one of the sound re-recording mixers for Lost, including "Pilot, Part 1", "?", and "Not in Portland". In the May 23, 2007 Official Lost Video Podcast, he describes that his job is to make sound effects and to mix the background sounds and the sound effects into the audio track. Weber has been nominated for two Emmys in two years, both for Outstanding Single-Camera Sound Mixing for a Series.
