Despite of his height, he was born in Arnor. He was one of the robbers that was recuited by Halbarad Dúnadan, Aragorn, Maia, Elladan and Elrohir. He was extremely loyal to the company. During the Battle of Lam Nheong, he and his best friend, Corsanir, was appointed to protect the sword by Dalason. They slayed a lot of Orcs in that ambush, and their strength was complimented by Halabarad. Later, he and Gimli protected Aragorn from being stabbed by the Umbar Captain from the back and was thanked by him.
