An Advice Animal is an image combining a photograph or illustration of a subject (most often a person or animal) with juxtaposed text, usually in a white-with-black-outline bold sans serif, which is often meant to be humorous, sarcastic, and/or thought-provoking. Advice Animals evolved from the Internet meme known as LOLcats, and sometimes use the same idiosyncratic and grammatically incorrect language (sometimes called "lolspeak" or "kitty pidgin").
