Lorna Brown is a London-based professional actress and singer/songwriter who trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Having worked extensively on TV and on stage, she is currently an acting and singing tutor. In Coronation Street she played the Consultant in charge of Bethany Platt's care when she was hospitalised after unwittingly swallowing an ecstasy tablet that had been stashed inside one of her dolls by her uncle, David Platt, in September 2007.
