A Units Vision range is how far they can see in Fog of War. Given that it only has an effect in battles where Fog of War is present, it is rarely an attribute which is specifically looked for when buying a Unit. Certain COs (Most notably Sonja) can have an effect on their Unit's Vision range. A unit's Fog of War vision range is negatively affected by one space during rain.
