Ampelas was an Eleint. His aspect was Shadow. Together with Kalse and Eloth, he tried to conquer the Realm of Shadow. They were chained by Anomander Rake, who insisted on keeping the Throne of Shadow unclaimed. The last surviving K'Chain Che'Malle skykeep, Ampelas Rooted, was named after him.
