James "JT" Tisnewski is a character in the short-lived NBC military drama, E-Ring. JT was born the youngest of seven children. His Polish-American father, Karl Tisnewski, was an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps while his Peruvian-American mother, Sheila Tisnewski, was a homemaker. After high school, JT went on to San Diego State University. He graduated from San Diego State with a Bachelor of Science in Management. Soon after, he enlisted in the United States Army and decided to become an Army Ranger. After completing basic combat training and then advanced individual training, JT went on to the U.S. Army Airborne School. Upon completing airborne training, he was sent to the Ranger Indoctrination Program. Upon graduation of RIP, he joined the 75th Ranger Regiment. JT later attended and pas
