The Gong is a multi-purpose, heavy-calibre sidearm featured in nearly every volume of the original manga, and also the 2004 film directed by Shinji Aramaki. Along with the Seburo Bobson Centennial, it is depicted to be one of heroine Deunan Knute's favorite, and most relied upon, weapons.
